There are many sights to see in the vacinity such as Bugis Street Market, Little India, and Kampong Glam. Bugis is also known for its lively night markets and variety of food. However, the immediate area around the hostel itself is quiet by 11pm so a backpacker can come back and relax at night.

The unique feature of the hostel lies in its environmentally-friendly practices. The hostel has a contract with recycling company to ensure that all materials collected in the recycling receptacles are actively and properly recycled. Only non-toxic cleaning products and energy-efficient appliances can be found. The accommodation is great for the responsible traveller.

All dormitories are air-conditioned and each guest has his/her own locker. Each Bed is installed with curtains for greater privacy. There is also a female-only dormitory and toilets/showers. The hostel is accessible via security card access so guests can come in/out at any time.
