St Christopher’s Bauhaus Hostel

St Christopher’s is a string of hostels throughout the major cities of Europe, including Bruges, Belgium. Located in central Bruges, about 45 minutes from the capital city of Brussels, St. Christopher’s Bauhaus Travelers’ Hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of a train station.

It also offers patrons the chance to rent a bike during their stay. Bikes are the best way to get around Bruges, because it may be difficult to find a parking spot. A ride of only 30 minutes gets bikers to the beaches of the Brugean coat. Or bike for two hours roundtrip to the border town of Sluis to see the canals.

Next door to the hostel is a budget hotel for travelers that are uncomfortable vacationing in dormitories. Unlike other hostels, St. Christopher’s is open 24 hours a day and has no age or membership restrictions. Patrons also get one free beer if they decide to have dinner at the hostel’s diner.
