Heart of Gold Hostel Review
I have stayed at Hostels all around Europe and I have to say this is the best hostel EVER! And its cheap! It is themed around Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and has a very interesting website – but don’t let it put you off! The rooms are massive and it is all brand new, clean (really good looking cleaners who all listen to heavy metal while cleaning) and it just has a really wicked atmosphere and awesome staff! It is on a quiet street surprisingly, as it is in one of the top areas of Berlin. In the reception area they have a big café/ bar where they sell really cheap drinks and have good breakfast in the morning and pool tables, and at night it’s a real hot spot where you can meet people get drunk, and walk to some of the hottest night spots in Berlin! What more could you want! Its also walking distance to Museum Island, Brandenburg gate, Checkpoint Charlie and a lot of the other major sites that are must see’s in Berlin. I met some of the coolest people there and did not want to leave! Don’t stay anywhere else in Berlin!
