Camping Village Alba d’oro

Don’t bother looking for a hostel in the centre of Venice, they don’t exist. This camping ground is really cool! I stayed in one of the little 4 bed bungalows. They are nice and you have your own bathroom. The whole place is huge and has a massive pool and spas and a gym. The restaurant seems a bit expensive… until you go into Venice and you realise its actually well priced compared to everything else! The little shop is also really good. This is the camping ground where people from top deck, bus about and contiki all stay so there is a party every night and loads of people to hang out with and get drunk at the campsite bar! They have a shuttle bus that goes to the centre of Venice every 30- 40 minutes all day until pretty late at night and its cheap and fairly fast but get there a bit early because it’s a mad rush for everyone to get onto the bus. Really good fun place to stay!
