Astor Hostels
Astor Hostels is a hostel chain located throughout London. The hostels are located centrally within London in the districts of Victoria, Bayswater, Kensington and Holborn. Hostels vary in size but have similar features such as common rooms, kitchens, and 24 hours reception. The Astor Quest, Astor Kensington and Astor Hyde Park are all situated very close to Hyde Park.

This hostel isn’t too bad.
It has a colourful interior and the rooms are clean.
It is very international, plenty of Spanish, French, Italian, etc. It also has a small number of weekly rooms, taken up by working holiday makers who are new to London and are trying to find work and/or accomodation.
This hostel makes an effort to encourage its residents to socialise by hosting dinner and movie nights. This is good if your travelling alone!
The staff are quite friendly (well they were to me) so no compliants there.
Finally, the location of this hostel is great! It’s located in between Pimlico Underground and Victoria station (slightly closer to Pimlico, however both very walkable). It is tucked away from the hustle & Bustle of Central London however still located very centrally (Zone 1).
This is one of the better hostels I have stayed in in London.
