My first impression of the Anker hostel wasn’t positive. I arrived at the hostel at about 5PM on a friday, and there was a massive que to check in because there was only 1 person working on reception at that time!
The hostel facilites were decent. I stayed in a six bed dorm which was clean. It had its own bathroom which was handy. It also had PIN code safes where you could lock all of your valuables for a cheap price.
The bar isn’t really a proper bar, it is attached to reception in the entrance.
This is a basic hostel which provides everything you need, but doesnt have much atmosphere at all. But i think this is one of the only hostels in Oslo, so I guess I reccommend it if you visit this city.
